How to teach English writing for secondary students in Thailand
Introduction
English language is important for secondary students in Thailand. Thai secondary students have problems about writing. English writing is difficult because if they don’t know about vocabulary or grammar they can’t write. Grammar and vocabulary is important for writing skills.
The purpose of doing this search is to help Thai secondary students learn writing skills and writing for inspiration to study.
2. Literature Review
According to Bamberg (1984), grammar is important for Thai secondary students in Thailand when they writing because if they don’t understand grammar they can’t write sentence.
Silva (1984) suggested that structure of grammar is important for writing because structure of grammar is tool they can use in writing English.
Research Purpose and Research Question
The purpose of this study is to search for effective ways to teach English writing, which help Thai secondary students improve writing ability. The research question addressed is what process of English writing can help or improve students in secondary school to learn writing ability?
Research Method
The research setting is at Lanska School . The research interview 5 English teachers teaching English writing in secondary school in Thailand will be interviewed. The research will be carried out during 26-30 Auguest 2008.
